Germany has a long history of art vending machines, beginning (as far we know) with a machines installed by the artists Karl von Monschau and Willy Gallinowski 1979/80 in the Ludwig Forum for international Art in Aachen. It was later installed in front of the documenta 7 in Kassel in 1982.
We’d be very grateful to anyone who can give us with more information about this machine or provide us with photos of the machine or its contents.
